Littondale

Walking through the entrance of Littondale, you enter a substantial property arranged over two floors with space to spread out. Ground level holds a living room and dining room opening onto the kitchen—equipped for serious cooking with an electric range, two dishwashers, and an American fridge freezer—plus a utility room with laundry facilities. Three bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms occupy this level: one with a four-poster kingsize and slipper bath, one with a double and shower, one with two singles and a walk-in shower. Upstairs brings a second living room, three more bedrooms (a four-poster kingsize with walk-in shower, a four-poster double with bunks and bath-shower, and two singles with bath), each with its own ensuite.

The house sits in the heart of Littondale, surrounded by the open countryside of the Yorkshire Dales—moorland, fell pastures, and the River Skirfare. Footpaths and bridleways lead directly from the property into the landscape. A pub lies within half a mile; shops and restaurants are eight miles away. The grounds include a lawned garden with a barbecue, and parking for four cars is on site. Bed linen, towels and wifi are provided; heating and electricity are included. The property takes up to one dog. No smoking inside.
