Scarborough's North Bay beach is a short drive away, and from Badger Cottage you can reach Filey's sheltered bay and the clifftop walks around Flamborough Head within half an hour. The Theatre In The Round stages world premieres of new plays; the Open Air Theatre hosts touring music acts. Inland, the North York Moors offer walking and cycling routes through open countryside, while the old Scarborough to Whitby railway line runs through some striking landscape. The villages of Scalby and Burniston are within a mile if you want somewhere quieter to eat.
This converted stone barn on the edge of the moors contains a double bedroom upstairs and a ground-floor bathroom with underfloor heating. Downstairs is one open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area and seating, where a 45-inch TV gets Freeview channels. The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking; there's also a utility room with a washing machine outside. A private enclosed garden with patio and seating faces away from the road. Two parking spaces sit on the property, and a bike store is available for anyone wanting to explore by bicycle.
Electricity, wi-fi and bed linen are included. The cottage suits couples and can accommodate children under three years old only. No smoking inside.

Beautiful , Beautiful , Beautiful , Everything was spick and span if your from down south , or nip and clean if your from up north , definitely a place to relax and unwind , we had the pleasure of meeting Mrs penny (such a lovely lady), we will definitely be back 😀.

We are truly over the moon with low moore holiday cottages. We are staying in low moore Lodge. It is exceptional. Spotlessly clean. Great views. The best equipped kitchen I have ever had. We were greeted on arrival made to feel really welcome. All cleaning goods provided. Also in lodge dish cloth scorer washing up liquid tea towels toilet roll welcome.e pack including tea coffee sugar biscuits and milk. Information pack. The lodge has 50 in tv in lounge including sound bar both bedrooms have 30 in tv's. We have our own private yard with lovely outdoor furniture. We have use of washing machine. I would really recommend this destination for a truly value for money quiet holiday.

This was now our 3rd visit to Low Moor and each stay has been in a different cottage . The cleanliness, layout , decor and furniture was to a very high standard as was in the previous 2 we stayed in. Wren cottage is equipped with everything you need for your holiday . Set in a lovely peaceful setting , it's an ideal place for a comfy stay. Paula is very helpful and nothing is too much trouble , we'll be back
