Burniston sits within easy reach of Scarborough's North Bay, on the Yorkshire coast. Lux Elm 44 is a contemporary two-bedroom lodge on a gated holiday park at the village edge, where you get the whole place to yourselves. Everything is on the ground floor: a bright open-plan living area with dining space and kitchen, plus two bedrooms and a bathroom with a separate toilet. The king-size bedroom has a wardrobe and dressing table; the second bedroom has two single beds.

You'll find an electric oven and gas hob in the kitchen, along with a microwave and fridge-freezer, so cooking for the group is straightforward. The living area has a sofa and armchair arranged around an electric fire. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. Outside, your private decking has garden furniture—a wooden bench is good for morning coffee or an evening wind-down. There's on-site parking for one car.

Burniston itself is a 20-minute walk away and has a pub. A day exploring the coast, or the quieter moments between outings, work equally well here. No smoking indoors.
