Norm’s Nook
North Yorkshire
Grassington is a working village at the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, with independent shops, pubs and restaurants lining its square. The surrounding landscape offers immediate access to walking and cycling trails, while larger attractions—Skipton's castle and market, Harrogate's shops, Fountains Abbey—are a short drive away. Norm's Nook is a stone-built cottage a few minutes' walk from the village centre, sleeping six across three bedrooms and two bathrooms. There are doubles on the ground and second floors; the first floor has a bunk arrangement with a double base and single above. The second bedroom's ensuite means families with older children can have some privacy.
The ground floor has a living room with an open fire, and a kitchen and dining space where you can cook from scratch. Gas central heating and electricity are included, along with bed linen and towels. Wi-Fi keeps you connected. The enclosed rear garden with patio furniture is accessed by steep stone steps; the property itself has three steps to the entrance. On-road parking is available, and there's an additional public car park nearby at a cost. The cottage welcomes children and comes equipped with a travel cot, highchair and stairgates. There is a pub within a mile. No smoking inside.
