Pasture Barn
North Yorkshire
Pasture Barn stands on a working farm deep within the North York Moors National Park, surrounded by meadows and woodland crossed by footpaths and bridleways. The detached cottage has two bedrooms and one bathroom, sleeping four people, with the entire property to yourself. Downstairs there is a living room with Freeview TV, DVD and CD players, and a kitchen/dining room equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine all present. Two single beds are in the ground-floor bedroom. Upstairs, the second bedroom has a kingsize bed, and the bathroom includes a bath with shower over.
Oil central heating keeps the cottage warm, and Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. Outside, a patio with garden furniture and a BBQ overlook the fields, and there is space to store bikes. Two cars can park on site. The village of Lockton, a mile away, has a tea room and local pubs serving meals. Pickering—six miles distant—offers shops, restaurants and the North Yorkshire Steam Railway, while Whitby's fishing port lies 15 minutes' drive off. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. The cottage is non-smoking.
