Richmond is a working market town on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, its cobbled square and independent shops within easy reach on foot. Pinfold Cottage sits just back from this hub, a Grade II listed semi-detached property that has been restored to combine period character with modern comfort. The enclosed courtyard—paved, furnished, and private—gives you outdoor space without leaving the town centre.
Inside, the ground floor holds a living room with a wood burner and smart TV, a dining room opening onto the courtyard through French doors, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking: electric oven and hob, dishwasher, and everything else you need to prepare meals. Upstairs are three bedrooms—a kingsize, a twin, and a single—and a bathroom with both bath and shower. Five guests can sleep here comfortably, with bed linen and towels supplied. Wi-Fi, heating, and electricity are included; logs for the wood burner are too.
The location suits families or groups wanting to explore on foot. Richmond's pubs, restaurants, and tea rooms are a short stroll away, and the countryside beyond is accessible for walks and cycling. There is a public car park nearby (charged weekly). Smoking is not permitted.
