Seaton Court is a self-catering cottage within Seaton Hall, a manor house with centuries of documented history. It sits in private grounds on the edge of Staithes, where the North Yorkshire coast meets moorland. The property works well for families or groups of up to six, with three bedrooms—two doubles and a twin that can be configured as a double—plus three bathrooms so everyone has space. One small dog stays free.
The layout spreads across two floors. Downstairs is an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area with a 50-inch smart TV and electric woodburner; the kitchen has an oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and coffee machine. One double bedroom with ensuite shower sits on the ground floor too. Upstairs are two further bedrooms—another double and the zip-and-link twin—sharing a bathroom with a roll-top bath. A utility room holds a washing machine and tumble dryer. The cottage has its own patio and access to a large lawned garden shared with other properties on the estate. Parking for three cars is allocated on-site. Wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; a travel cot and highchair are available.
The grounds contain a walled moat. Staithes village, with the Co-op on Whitby Road, is a short walk away. The property does not permit smoking.

Absolutely loved it. Felt like lord of the manor the moment I walked in and ideally located for places like Staithes harbour, Saltburn by the sea, Sandsend and Whitby. Lovely cafe and antiques centre right next door to the accommodation. Would definitely go stay again

We stayed at Lady de Seton cottage, this January. Absolutely beautiful, very quirky and has everything we could possibly need. Very clean and tidy when we arrived, owner William came straight away to check everything was OK The cafe is just next door and we ate there for breakfast. The girls are lovely and very helpful, nothing too much trouble. Rate 100% and will definitely come back.

Just stayed with a party of 20 for my 60th birthday. It was amazing .We had a great time - from my parents who are 92 & 90 years old to my great nephews and niece, it was ideal. We stayed in the hall, the cottage and the annexe. William, the owner, was very welcoming and accommodating allowing us to move furniture to make easier access for my parents. The facilities for cooking were great with plenty of big pots and pans, glasses of all shapes and sizes etc. The beds were comfortable and there is lots of room in and out to relax and have fun.
