Summertree Farm - The Granary

The Granary is a converted farmhouse building on a quiet working farm, two miles from Thornton-le-Dale in the North York Moors. It sleeps four across two bedrooms—a double and two singles—with one bathroom. The whole property is yours alone, and one well-behaved dog can stay free.

Upstairs is the main living space: a joined kitchen, dining and sitting area with a Smart TV and Blu-ray player. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer, so you can cook what you want rather than rely on local restaurants (though the village has a pub and restaurant two miles away). Downstairs are both bedrooms and the bathroom. There's a washing machine in a shared laundry room, a cot and highchair if you need them, and a stairgate. Eco biomass heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included. You get private parking for two cars and a bike store. In the garden there's furniture to sit out on; by arrangement and weather permitting, you can use the owner's swimming pool at additional cost.

The location suits walkers and cyclists—country paths start from the property—and families wanting a base to explore the Moors. The area is quiet; the nearest amenities are a couple of miles away in the village.
