Sycamore Barn

Sycamore Barn is a converted barn in Tollerton, about 10 miles north of York. Step inside and you're met with a generous open-plan space on the ground floor—living area, dining area and kitchen all flowing together, with a garden room that overlooks the private enclosed garden beyond. The woodburner is there if you want it. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a double bed, one with bunks. There's a wet room on the ground floor and a full bathroom upstairs, so four guests can manage comfortably.

The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering, with electric oven, gas hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. The enclosed garden has patio furniture and a sitting area, and there's parking for one car. The property is in Tollerton's conservation area.

York is close enough for a day trip—the Minster, Jorvik, the National Railway Museum and boat trips on the Ouse are all there. The Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors are within reach for longer exploration. There's a pub within a mile. No smoking in the property.
