The Granary

This converted farm building retains the character of its origins, with a corner stone fireplace and period features throughout. The Granary stands on the edge of Carperby, a small Wensleydale village with its own pub, surrounded by countryside that opens immediately onto walking routes. The whole property is yours alone, sleeping eight across four bedrooms: a king with ensuite bathroom, a double, and two rooms with single beds. Three bathrooms serve the house, along with a shower room on the ground floor.

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking—electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and all the basics—while the dining room seats eight. A living room with open fire, television and Sky provides a focal point in the evenings. Bed linen, Wi-Fi and heating are included; logs for the fire are provided. There is private parking for three cars and a small garden with furniture. One dog stays free of charge. The property does not permit smoking.

Leyburn and Hawes, the nearest market towns, are within reasonable reach for shops and restaurants. Walking dominates the immediate area, with Wensleydale's landscape unfolding from your doorstep.
