The Mill Lodge is a converted mill building standing at the boundary of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, with the River Aire running close by. This detached property sleeps 10 across five bedrooms and four bathrooms, making it suitable for large family groups or several couples. Parking for five cars is available on site, and the whole place is yours alone during your stay.
The ground floor contains an open-plan living space with a wood-burning stove and freeview television, a dining area, and a well-equipped kitchen with a range cooker, dishwasher and separate washing machine and tumble dryer. Bedroom 1, also on this level, is a zip-and-link kingsize with an ensuite shower room. Upstairs, bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 are all doubles or kingsizes with en-suite facilities and televisions, while bedroom 5 has two single beds. A family bathroom with a bath and shower sits on the first floor. An enclosed back garden with seating and a gas barbecue overlooks the surrounding countryside. Essentials including bed linen, towels, wifi and heating are covered, with initial fuel for the woodburner provided.
Skipton's market town centre lies within reach, its high street recognised for independent shopping. Walking from the property leads directly to the Dales' landscape—Malham Cove, Gordale Scar and Malham Tarn are nearby. The historic city of York and the Lake District are both accessible as day trips. No smoking is permitted inside the property.

What guests say
Eight of us stayed for three nights in this beautiful cottage. The owner is extremely helpful and pleasant. One of our guests needed to have oxygen cylinders delivered, ready for our arrival. The owner Nicola made sure someone was there to take the delivery before our arrival. The house is in a beautiful quite location, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The place is a real credit to Nicola and her staff. Thanks

Very nice house, the rooms are gorgeous, the place is in a wonderful location right next to a river. There were no logs and kindling for wood burner was a bit of a pain, usually they are provided in holiday cottages. But apart from that a really nice stay.

The photos really don't do this property justice. The cottage was absolutely beautiful and a lovely little stream outside. Very peaceful and not too far away from skipton and other places. I'll definitely be looking at booking again.
