The Stable Loft

The Stable Loft comes ready for real life: electricity, bed linen and towels are all included, and the kitchen has everything from a full oven and hob to a dishwasher, so you can cook properly rather than make do. A washing machine and tumble dryer are here too, which matters if you're staying longer than a weekend. The living space is open-plan, flowing from seating and a flat-screen television through to dining for four, and doors open directly onto a canal-side garden where you can sit with coffee while narrowboats pass.

Bedrooms are generously sized: the main has a double bed, the second has two full-size singles. The family bathroom includes a bath with shower over. One private parking space comes with the property. This is a whole place to yourself, with no shared access.

Skipton is a short level walk away, with shops, cafés and pubs, along with Skipton Castle and Aireville Park. The Yorkshire Dales National Park scenery is close by. A pub is within a mile. Smoking is not permitted inside.
