This rural lodge in Nidderdale sits on a single floor, making it straightforward for groups or families who want to spread out. Four bedrooms accommodate eight: three doubles, one with an ensuite, plus a twin room. Three bathrooms with baths and showers mean mornings are less of a scramble. One bedroom has its own shower cubicle attached; the other two rooms share the main bathrooms.

Two separate kitchen-and-living zones allow guests to split up or stay together as they please. The main space is open-plan, with a woodburner for cooler evenings and a wood-fired oven outside. Both kitchens are fully fitted for proper cooking rather than holiday shortcuts. A large decked area overlooks the surrounding woodland, and there's garden furniture and bike storage. Parking for four cars is on site, and an electric car charging point is available by arrangement.

Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included, along with initial fuel for the burner. One well-behaved pet can stay free. The lodge is non-smoking. Springwood Lodges nearby and the wider Nidderdale area offer walking and cycling opportunities.
