This former joiner's shop and blacksmith's has been converted into a ground-floor apartment in the Wharfedale village of Burnsall. Valley View retains original beams and period character while offering the practical comforts of modern self-catering: a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, two ensuite bedrooms (one with a bath and shower, one with a shower cubicle), a sitting room with electric fire, and Wi-Fi throughout. The first bedroom contains a zip-and-link king bed that can be split into two singles if needed; the second is a standard king. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included, and there is parking for two cars on site. The front courtyard is shared with the owner but offers outdoor seating, and a bike store is available.
Burnsall sits between Grassington and Bolton Abbey, with Skipton's castle and market square a short drive away. A pub and restaurant are within 300 yards; the nearest shop is 3 miles. The location works well as a base for walking and cycling in the Dales, or simply as a quiet place to stay. The property is non-smoking, and while not specifically designed for children, a travel cot and stairgate are available.
