Friendly staff, good pub and quick service. The breakfast was nice however there was a lack of drinks there were no juices on offer or herbal teas or alternative milks. The room was so spacious and there were no issues with noice. The room had everything we needed in it. I would recommend brining your own shampoo and conditioner as there was only a 2 in 1 in the shower. The room was clean too. The only thing I think should be highlighted of a safety concern is that in the hallway on the stairs a light was broken with a live wire exposed, please get that fixed. Good stay for the price though!

Very Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend On arrival, the first impression was poor. There were four lads standing in the entrance hallway drinking alcohol and smoking. It did not feel welcoming or professionally managed. Staff engagement was minimal. The only real interaction was at breakfast, and even that was disappointing. One staff member was dressed unprofessionally with his hood up over his head while serving guests. When I ordered a latte, he handed me a black coffee and said he didn’t know how to make one. That says everything about the standard. When we finished breakfast, both staff members were sitting down chatting. I asked for some guidance and was simply told “over there” with no real effort to help. Customer service felt like an inconvenience to them. The room itself was also below standard. We were supposed to have a double bed, but it was clearly two single beds pushed together. The uncomfortable gap down the middle made for a poor night’s sleep. The worst part was the bathroom. After using the shower, the shower room and toilet area smelled strongly of sewerage. It was genuinely sickening and completely unacceptable. Overall, this was not a pleasant experience and certainly not worth the money. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to others.

The building was lovely, just a shame the customer service wasn’t very inviting and not very welcoming like we were an inconvenience. We had dinner there as well we done the 3 course offer, the nacho bites had no cheese in them. Chicken wings were nice. Main meal steak was cooked correctly but the chips were soggy and scampi was over cooked. The chicken plate the ribs were cooked well the bbq wings had not sauce on them but the ribs were smothered a long with the southern fried chicken was smothered in sauce which was very overpowering. For dessert we ordered sticky toffee pudding and hot chocolate fudge cake, they had run out of sticky offers pudding and cheesecake and vanilla ice cream. Chocolate fudge cake wasn’t even hot. Room was nice, windows were hard to open. The bathroom window wasn’t frosted so other houses around can see in. Mold on the bathroom window. So overall not a great experience.
