Beech Cottage

Northumberland

View on Google Maps

Beech Cottage is a 19th-century stone cottage sleeping four in the village of Hepple, next to the post office and on the edge of Northumberland National Park. The property is yours alone, with a wood-burning stove in the living room, a fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker and two fridge-freezers, and a bathroom with bath and shower. Bed linen, towels, heating and Wi-Fi are all included; fuel for the open fire is provided too. A cot and highchair are available if needed.

Downstairs has the living room, where a TV and DVD player sit beside the fireplace, along with the kitchen and dining space. Three bedrooms are upstairs: one double and two singles. Outside, the rear garden has seating and furniture for sitting out, and there is off-road parking and a bike store.

Rothbury is five miles away with pubs, cafés and a children's park, while Alnwick Castle lies a short drive further. The cottage is well placed for exploring the Northumberland National Park and its dark skies, and for visiting National Trust properties like Cragside and Wallington Hall. The nearest shop and pub are three and a half miles away. No smoking is permitted inside the property.
