Brocks Retreat

Northumberland's quiet countryside sits within reach of several appealing towns and the coast itself. Brocks Retreat is a single-storey cottage on a rural site, with its own entrance and parking for two cars. The property is yours alone—one bedroom with a kingsize bed, one bathroom with a shower, and a combined living and dining space that opens through French doors onto a private enclosed garden where you can sit outside or use the barbecue.

The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking: electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. A wood burner sits in the living area. Everything is on the ground floor. One dog stays free, and the owners provide extras for them; a bike store is on hand if you want to explore by cycle. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. The garden furniture and barbecue are yours to use during your stay.

Felton village is three miles away. Warkworth and its castle are close by, Amble—a working harbour with restaurants and cafes—sits five miles off, and Alnwick with its castle is fifteen minutes' drive. The surrounding fields attract badgers, deer and owls. No smoking in the property. Check-in is after 3pm, checkout before 10am.
