Camellia Cottage

Corbridge is a Roman village where the main street fills with independent shops, cafés and restaurants, yet Camellia Cottage sits quietly down a lane just footsteps away. The surrounding countryside—rolling Northumberland farmland and access to the River Tyne—makes this a natural base for walking and exploring further afield. The village itself rewards a lazy afternoon of wandering between tea rooms and antique dealers.

The cottage holds two bedrooms (one kingsize, one single) and one bathroom with both bath and walk-in shower. Downstairs is a sitting room with a wood-burning stove and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—it has an Aga, dishwasher, air fryer and the essentials for anything from a quick meal to something more involved. One car parks on site; bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are provided. The enclosed garden to the south catches the afternoon sun and comes with outdoor furniture. One dog stays free, and smoking is not permitted.

The cottage suits couples, small families or friends who want their own space without leaving village life behind. Reach the Tyne for fishing, or simply stay put with a book and the stove warm on cooler days.
