Ebbe Retreat is a ground-floor apartment carved from Beadnell House, a converted Georgian mansion in the heart of this Northumberland coastal village. The property retains period features including an open fireplace, oak flooring and high ceilings that flood the living and dining space with light. Two bedrooms—one with a king-size bed, one with a double—and two bathrooms serve four guests. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking with a range cooker, and there's a small enclosed garden with patio seating accessed directly from the kitchen. One dog can stay at no extra charge; non-smokers only.
Beadnell Bay stretches north from the village with golden sand that draws water sports enthusiasts year-round. Sea kayaking, kite surfing and scuba diving are all arranged locally. Two miles up the coast, Seahouses is a working fishing port with regular boat trips to the Farne Islands to see seals and nesting birds. The village itself has shops, pubs and cafes. Parking for two cars sits on site, and the essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—are all included. The grounds are shared with other apartments within the same building.
