Cygnus is a two-bedroom cabin sleeping four, set on Felmoor Country Park near Morpeth. The whole property is yours alone. Everything essential is taken care of: bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, heating and electricity are all included, and a welcome pack arrives with you. One car parking space is provided on site.
The cabin sits on ground level with no steps inside. An open-plan living area contains a smart TV, dining space and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine are all here. The first bedroom has a double bed with an ensuite shower room; the second has two single beds, and there is a separate bathroom with bath and overhead shower. A hot tub sits outside for evening relaxation. The property does not permit smoking, and one well-behaved dog can stay at no extra cost.
Felmoor Country Park itself has a café and children's play area. Northumberland Zoo is within walking distance, Burgham Park golf course nearby, and Felton village offers a pub and shop. For a wider range of restaurants and shops, Morpeth is close by. The Northumberland coast, Druridge Bay, Cragside and Kielder Water are all within reach for day trips, as is Newcastle.

As a family. We booked three lodges for a long weekend and they were superb so well equipped. Everything was there that we needed so comfortable and there was a phone number if we needed anything which we didn't. I just want to say a big thank you to the cabin escapes admin staff and the staff that looked after the cabin cabins for a superb holiday. Again, thank you so much. Sheila porrit and family

Booked this as a luxury lodge for 3 adults & one grand child aged 16. They had to sleep in beds less than 6” long and less than 3 ft wide. Broken locks on the patio doors/ broken glass table left outside for us to use and as soon as we tried to move it nearer to the hot tub the leg fell off and glass fell out. The chair back we found to be broken the next day when we tried to use to place the towels on it, the back of the chair we were left was broken. No hair dryer left, wet hair on the first night and then going to find a n Argos to buy one! Gas certs/electricity certs out of date?? No storage and no hooks to put coats on or coat hangers so we had to live out of her troller dolleys because of the lack of storage. 5 cm of hand soap left in one of the two bathrooms! Water pressure an issue and so the washer and dishwasher took much longer because of this. When the washer/dryer was spinning and drying it shook the large mirror in the lounge and we were worried it would fall off. Basic basic basic but at a premium price.

We had an amazing time at the cabin. The whole place was spotless, the hot tub was amazing. The hosts were very helpful and there was so much to do close by. Would not hesitate to book again.
