Squirrel Leap Lodge suits couples, families with young children, or small groups wanting their own space in rural Northumberland. The detached lodge is entirely yours for the stay, set within Felmoor Park's grounds. It sleeps four across two bedrooms—a double with en-suite shower room and a twin—plus a main bathroom with a full bath. The ground floor is laid out as one flowing space: a living and dining area with a fireplace and Smart TV, then a kitchen fitted for proper cooking with electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and washing machine. One dog stays free, and there's an enclosed decking area outside where they can move around safely.
The essentials are covered: electricity, wifi, bed linen, towels, and heating. You'll find a travel cot and highchair if needed, and a welcome pack on arrival. Two cars can park on site. The back garden has patio furniture for sitting out. Four steps lead into the garden itself, worth noting if mobility is a concern.
Felmoor Park puts you within reach of the Northumberland coast—Druridge Bay, Alnmouth and Warkworth are short drives for beach walks. Alnwick Castle, Warkworth Castle and the Poison Garden sit nearby. Northumberland National Park, with its walking routes and stargazing, lies under an hour away. No smoking in the lodge.
