Felmoor Holidays - The Outback sits within walking distance of woodland paths and a lake, with the Crazy Horse Saloon and other attractions nearby for when you want to venture out. The cabin itself is a single-storey timber building with everything on one level: an open-plan living and dining space, a kitchen fitted with electric oven, gas hob, air fryer and dishwasher, three bedrooms (two doubles and a twin), and a shower room. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included.

The property sleeps six and comes with private parking for two cars. Outside, you get an enclosed garden suitable for dogs, and the main draw: a private hot tub for four people, set back for privacy. There is also outdoor seating. The cabin is accessed via footpath only. Smoking is not permitted inside.

This suits families, groups of friends, or couples looking for a woodland base with on-site relaxation. The park itself has a reputation for being peaceful, with lake views and wildlife, plus an on-site pub and restaurant. Dogs stay free.

We stayed in a lodge on this site with our two dogs. It's certainly easy to find - the entrance is a mini-junction on the A1. There is a good woodland walk on site, and everything was pretty tidy and well kept. It's only about a twenty minute drive from the massive beach at Druridge Bay, which our dogs loved. The other guests/owners were friendly, and the Crazy Horse is okay for a drink, they have a dog friendly area, but as there was not one vegan dish on their menu we never ate there. Overall pretty cool for a holiday park.

Great place for peace and quiet and to relax. Ducks and swans come up to your lodge if near the lake. The Crazy Horse pub has a amusements room and is located on site with great staff and food. Northumberland Zoo which is a mile away is brilliant for kids and has a variety of animals from poison frogs to snow leopards. Alnwick is 20 mins away in car. Would highly recommend.
