Fishermans Apartment

Fishermans Apartment is a one-bedroom place in Seahouses, metres from the harbour wall where you can watch boats come and go. It sleeps two and sits within a small courtyard of holiday homes in the historic fishing quarter. A dog is welcome here, and essentials like electricity, bed linen and towels are provided. The flat is on a single floor with an open-plan kitchen, dining area and lounge with a TV, plus a double bedroom and a modern bathroom with walk-in shower and heated towel rail.

Outside there's a private enclosed seating area with decking, and parking for one car in the cobbled courtyard (though access via a small archway means larger vehicles won't fit). Communal laundry facilities are shared with the other homes on the property. Seahouses village has independent shops, a butcher, baker, pubs and restaurants within walking distance. The working harbour is the departure point for boat trips to the Farne Islands, where you can see puffins in summer months, grey seals and nesting seabirds.

The coastline stretches north and south with beaches for walking and exploring. Bamburgh with its castle is five minutes' drive away. No smoking inside the property.
