Gingerbread Log Cabin sits on the edge of a small lake in rural Northumberland, within easy reach of both the Northumberland Zoo—just a quarter-mile away—and the coast at Amble. The cabin is a wooden lodge sleeping six across three bedrooms: one double and two twin rooms. Everything is on the ground floor, opening onto decking with garden furniture and a hot tub for six. There's one bathroom with a shower cubicle.
The living space is open plan, with a wood-effect electric burner, smart TV and French doors to the garden. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge-freezer. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are provided. One car can park on site. Smoking is not permitted.
The location works for families wanting to visit the zoo, or anyone exploring the wider area: Alnwick Castle is a short drive away, Warkworth has a riverside walk and its own castle, and Amble offers a working harbour and waterfront restaurants. The cabin suits groups of friends or extended families wanting their own space without shared facilities.
