Skye View comes fully equipped for self-catering: the kitchen has everything from oven and hob to dishwasher and washing machine, so you can cook proper meals rather than relying on takeaways. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. The open-plan living and dining area is built for groups to gather and socialise, with a Freeview TV and electric fire. Three bedrooms sleep six—one double and two twin rooms, each with its own TV—and there's a walk-in shower room serving them all.

The real draw is the private hot tub on the raised terrace, which seats six and overlooks the grounds of Felmoor Country Park. You have your own parking for two cars, and the grounds include lawned areas and a lake a hundred yards away where swans and other wildlife gather. Ground-floor access means no stairs to navigate once you're inside. The lodge itself sits on the park's grounds, which are shared with other properties on-site; there's a seasonal club house with a bar and café if you want a break from cooking. The setting suits anyone after a quiet countryside base—families, groups of friends, or anyone wanting to unwind without travelling far. One dog is welcome. No smoking inside, please.
