Glendale - Glendale Cottage

Glendale Cottage sits on the southern edge of Northumberland National Park, within the International Dark Skies Park. Hadrian's Wall runs within walking distance, and the wider landscape offers Walltown Craggs, Vindolanda, Housesteads and Sycamores Gap for exploration. Hexham market town, Newcastle, and Kielder Forest are all within an hour's drive; the Lake District lies a little further on.

The cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms: two with single beds and one with a kingsize. There is one bathroom with a bath and shower. Downstairs holds a living room with Freeview television and DVD player, a separate dining room, and a kitchen with electric cooker, dishwasher and microwave. A utility room contains a washing machine. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi—are included. An enclosed garden with patio furniture looks out over the grounds; on-site parking is available.

The property has use of a private indoor heated swimming pool, available by arrangement with the owner at additional cost. An 11-acre woodland setting with a shared picnic area surrounds the cottage. No smoking is permitted. Cots and highchairs can be provided on request.
