Katy’s No 6

Northumberland

View on Google Maps

Amble is a genuine working harbour with a Sunday market, local bakeries and bespoke shops dotted around its centre. The estuary walk to Warkworth—about two miles—passes the marina and arrives at a castle perched above the village. Alnwick and its castle lie inland; further up the coast are Craster, known for smoked kippers, Dunstanburgh Castle, Seahouses and Holy Island. The Farm Bakery Shop is among the independent retailers nearby.

Katy's No 6 is a ground-floor apartment with everything on one level. It has two bedrooms (one double, one three-quarter double), a shower room with walk-in access, and a combined living and dining space. The kitchen is equipped for real cooking—electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine—and there is a 40-inch smart TV in both the main bedroom and living room. An enclosed rear courtyard with garden furniture provides outdoor space; parking is on the road about 50 yards away. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. No smoking.

The apartment suits a couple or a small family wanting to be close to the harbour, its cafés and restaurants. The neighbour has a right of way through the courtyard to reach their property.
