Lilswood Park - Woodland View Lodge

Woodland View Lodge is a detached lodge on the ground floor, designed so everything flows together without stairs. You walk into an open-plan living, dining and kitchen space, with French doors that lead straight onto a decking area and garden—the kind of layout where a group naturally spreads out without feeling separated. The main bedroom has a double bed and an ensuite with a bath; a second bedroom has two single beds and there's a separate shower room. A sofa bed in the living area means the lodge sleeps six, though four is the comfortable baseline. One dog stays free.

The kitchen has a gas hob and electric oven, a dishwasher and the usual fridge and freezer space—enough to cook properly or keep things simple. Electricity, gas, bed linen and towels are included. There's parking for two cars on site and a front garden with a sitting-out area; the garden has four steps. The lodge is on Percy Wood Holiday Park near Hexham, in Northumberland's North Pennines, within reach of Hadrian's Wall sites like Vindolanda and Housesteads, the riverside at Tyne Green, and forest walks in Slaley. No smoking inside.
