Melandra is a restored stone cottage sleeping up to five, with two bedrooms upstairs and a sofa bed in the dining room. The wood burner in the living room provides warmth through colder months, and the kitchen is equipped for self-catering with an oven, hob, dishwasher and washing machine. Bed linen, towels, electricity and Wi-Fi are included, along with initial logs for the burner. There's a bathroom with both bath and shower on the first floor, and the property has parking for two cars on site.
An enclosed garden with lawn and patio opens directly from the cottage, giving outdoor space whether the weather suits dining outside or not. One well-behaved pet can stay here. The village of Belford lies just over a mile away with shops, cafes and pubs; Bamburgh's castle and beach are six miles east. Walkers gravitate to the area for St Cuthbert's Way and trails into the Cheviot Hills, which lie twelve miles west near Wooler. No smoking inside.
