Mia’s Place

Mia's Place is a single-storey lodge where you step straight into an open-plan living space that connects kitchen, dining area and lounge without fuss. The kingsize bedroom comes with its own shower room; the second bedroom has two single beds and shares access to a walk-in shower. Both bathrooms mean couples or friends travelling together needn't queue in the morning. What you notice first is the decking outside—the hot tub sits sunken into it with room for four, looking out over grassed grounds backed by trees that screen the property from its neighbours.

The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob and microwave for cooking proper meals rather than holiday shortcuts. Heating is gas central, and essentials like bed linen, towels and wi-fi are covered. You can bring one pet. The site sits within a 40-acre country park with a small lake; an on-site restaurant and café are within walking distance, and Morpeth's historic market town is nearby for its bars and independent shops. Alnwick Castle lies close by. No smoking inside the lodge.
