Northumberland's coastline draws families and couples for its beaches, castles and boat trips to the Farne Islands, but the interior offers quieter appeal too—rolling countryside, woodlands and smaller villages away from the crowds. Northern Hideaways Apple Store sits within the private Ellingham Hall Estate, a converted stone building with its own front and rear gardens and parking for two cars.

The cottage has two bedrooms (one with a kingsize bed, one with two singles), one bathroom, and a kitchen with a full range of appliances including a dishwasher. Downstairs, the living room has a woodburner and smart TV, while French doors open onto the garden. There's also a separate toilet and utility room with a washing machine. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels come as standard. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. One small dog stays free.

The enclosed lawned garden has a patio and furniture; the rear garden includes a children's play area. The village of Seahouses is nearby for shops and pubs, and Bamburgh Castle, with its famous beach, is a short drive away. The cottage is non-smoking throughout.
