Dotty Cottage works well for families, couples or small groups wanting a complete property to themselves. The layout splits across two floors: downstairs holds a living room with woodburner and sofa bed, plus a kitchen with electric cooker and washing machine; upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed and one with two singles, served by a bathroom with bath and shower. The cottage sleeps 6 in total, with a travel cot and highchair available if needed.
Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered. The enclosed garden, set about 20 yards from the house, has lawn and furniture for outdoor time. You have private parking for two cars and bike storage. Chathill sits between Beadnell and Seahouses on Northumberland's Heritage Coast, within reach of castles at Alnwick, Bamburgh and Dunstanburgh, boat trips to the Farne Islands, and the Holy Island causeway crossing. A pub and restaurant are roughly a mile away; the nearest shop is four miles distant. No smoking inside.

Had a lovely time at dotty cottage, so warm and welcoming. Ideally located just off the A1 and in easy reach of Alnwick, Bamburgh, Seahouses and Holy Island. Would love to return soon. Nothing not to like.

A very spacious and well equipped cottage. Very clean, neat and tidy. Location is very good, just off the A1. We had a fantastic time! Thank you for allowing us to stay there. Huge thank you for putting in the effort in maintaining the cottage so we could enjoy the sights of Northumberland.

Love staying at Dotty Cottage, easily found just off the A1, easy access for places to visit, up to Edinburgh, Alnwick Castle & all the Northumberland Beaches. Dotty is warm and welcoming with everything you need. Lovely log fire for those cosy evenings in, all kitchen amenities you need, home from home it’s just as the photographs show. Can’t wait to book up again in the Summer.

We had a great stay here earlier this year and can't wait to return! Very spacious with a huge fire which was lovely after a long walk along the coast. Location wise it is perfect with the local pub only a mile away (food was delicious, worth a visit) and you're on the beach in 10 minutes. The cottage has everything you need and the hosts were great with providing all the information we needed. Definitely recommend, we shall be returning for sure.
