Orchard Sands

Beadnell is a working harbour village on the Northumberland coast, known for its golden sandy beaches and lack of the crowds found elsewhere. The village has a handful of pubs and restaurants, a shop, and a reputation among locals for being somewhere to actually get away. Walks along the shore are the main draw, though the wider coastline—with its castles, coves and lighthouse—sits within easy reach by car.

Orchard Sands is a ground floor apartment sleeping two, with everything on one level. The main space combines living and dining areas, a kitchen with an electric cooker and dishwasher, a bedroom with a double bed, and an ensuite shower. Freeview TV and a small collection of DVDs are provided. A shared laundry room has a washing machine and tumble dryer. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—are included. One parking space comes with the property, and there is a sitting-out area. No smoking is permitted.

The pub and a restaurant are about 100 yards away; the shop is 300 yards. The beach is within walking distance. This suits couples or friends wanting a straightforward base for exploring the coast or simply sitting still for a few days.
