Walk through the door of Xanadu and you step into a room that commands attention. The living space soars to a vaulted ceiling with exposed beams, dominated by a tall stone fireplace that draws the eye upwards. Round the corner is a dining table for six, and glazed doors open directly onto the private, fenced garden—a real asset if you've brought a dog.

Three bedrooms sleep six: a kingsize on the ground floor, bunks and two singles upstairs. There are two bathrooms, one with a bath and shower, the other a shower room. The kitchen is genuinely capable, fitted out by someone who knew what they were doing—double oven, gas range, dishwasher, wine cooler and all the basics for cooking properly. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. There's private parking for two cars and a fenced back garden with outdoor seating. No smoking inside the property.
