Seascape is a stone cottage at Proctors Stead Farm, built from the local whinstone and set on farmland between Alnwick and the sea. The building dates back generations and sits within sight of Dunstanburgh Castle's ruins across the fields. It sleeps six across three bedrooms: two doubles and one twin, all upstairs with views toward the coast. The bathroom is also on the first floor; downstairs you have a living room with a working woodburner, a kitchen/dining room with full cooking and laundry facilities, and a separate toilet.
Bed linen, towels, heating and wi-fi are provided; the woodburner's initial fuel is included. You have private parking for two cars and access to a bike store. The cottage is one of two on the property; a shared garden area sits between them. Smoking is not permitted inside.
Craster village—famous for its smoked fish—lies less than a mile away. Embleton beach, a mile or two north, has wide golden sand; Beadnell Bay is seven miles further up the coast. Seahouses, another three miles on, runs boat trips to the Farne Islands. A golf course operates locally. The location works for families and groups wanting a base for exploring the Northumberland coast without being in a busy resort.

Just had a fabulous week in Dunstanburgh View. The Cottage sleeps four, 1 double and 1twin. This Cottage has everything you need, we wanted for nothing. You have central heating throughout and a log fire (all set up and ready to go when you arrive). When we arrived we had a great welcome pack, wine, cake, biscuits, milk, tea and coffee. All the little touches makes this a home from home experience, I didn't want to leave 😔. The location is a joy, you're so close to lovely coastal walks . There are two pubs near by, I recommend both. Sally is at hand in the campsite reception (I recommend the campsite we have used it several times) where you can by some essentials. We will definitely be returning to the Cottage and campsite. 😁
