The Old Cottage is an early 19th-century house that has been thoroughly restored without losing its character. Exposed beams frame the ground-floor living space, where a wood burner sits ready for cool evenings. The kitchen comes with everything needed for proper cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, air fryer, American fridge freezer—so preparing meals together is straightforward rather than a chore. A smart TV, dining table and comfortable seating fill out the rest of the room. Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with its own en-suite shower room and heated towel rail. One has a king bed; the other has zip-link beds that can be configured as two singles or pushed together. The cottage sleeps four and welcomes one dog at no extra cost, with a welcome pack and dog extras provided.

Outside, an enclosed courtyard offers real privacy. There is a hot tub for your exclusive use, a barbecue, an outdoor kitchen, garden furniture, secure bike storage and parking for four cars. Wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included, along with some wood for the burner. The village of Christon Bank sits within reach of Beadnell, Embleton and Seahouses, with coastal walks and beaches nearby. No smoking indoors.
