Beadnell Bay Beach is a short walk away, its wide sandy expanse popular with sailors, kiteboarders and kayakers. The village itself has a shop and pub. Two miles north, Seahouses sends boat trips out to the Farne Islands to see seals and nesting seabirds, and has tea rooms and pubs of its own. Bamburgh, three miles further up the coast, centres on a castle and the Grace Darling Museum. Inland, Alnwick's castle and its famous garden—complete with Europe's largest treehouse—are a short drive away.
Sandy Toes is a terraced cottage sleeping four in a king bed and two singles, with one bathroom. The ground floor holds the living room and a kitchen-diner where you can prepare meals and do laundry. Upstairs are both bedrooms and the bathroom. Out the back, a fully enclosed decked area with furniture gives you somewhere to eat outside. One car parks on site; smoking is not permitted inside.
Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are all included. One dog or cat can come with you.
