Seaside Retreat

Seaside Retreat is a two-storey cottage in Amble with three bedrooms spread across ground, first and second floors. Downstairs holds the living room and kitchen/dining area; upstairs are a king bedroom with en-suite shower room, and a room with two singles. The property sleeps four and comes with wi-fi, heating, bed linen and towels included. Street parking is available outside, and there is a south-facing enclosed garden with patio seating at the rear, accessible by a single step from the back door.

The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and washing machine. A wood-burning stove adds warmth on cooler days. The cottage accepts one pet free of charge. Highchair and stairgate are available for families with younger children. No smoking is permitted inside.

Amble sits on the Northumberland coast roughly two miles from Warkworth, which has a castle and several cafes. The harbour is walkable, as are independent shops and ice cream parlours. Craster, Seahouses and Bamburgh are within reach for a longer coastal drive, and Holy Island lies further north. Alnmouth railway station connects to Edinburgh and Newcastle, while Alnwick with its castle is 15 minutes away.
