Northumberland

Hadrian's Wall runs less than a mile from The Hideaway, with sections like Steel Rigg and Cawfields reachable on foot along public paths. Haltwhistle itself sits within reach of Hexham and Corbridge, both market towns with independent shops and restaurants. Beyond this, Northumberland offers castles, beaches, and the Dark Sky National Park within an hour's drive. A pub stands within walking distance too.
The Hideaway is a ground-floor apartment in a converted building, sleeping two in a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower. The open-plan living space combines kitchen and dining areas—the kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and coffee machine if you want to cook. A wood-effect fire and smart TV occupy the living area. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included. A rear courtyard with garden furniture offers outdoor space, and there is bike storage for exploring the wall and surrounding terrain. One well-behaved pet stays free.
The apartment does not permit smoking. Check-in is after 15:00 and check-out before 10:00.
