Whinstone House

Whinstone House is a modern property built into the heart of Craster, the Northumberland coastal village. Ground-floor bedrooms and a first-floor living space mean the layout suits families or groups of up to eight. The main bedroom has a king bed and ensuite; three further bedrooms contain a double, another double, and bunk beds. Two bathrooms serve the property—one ensuite, one family bathroom with bath and shower. The open-plan first floor holds the living and dining areas plus a fully equipped kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher and washer-dryer, so cooking and eating in are straightforward. Smart TVs are in the living room and master bedroom. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included.

The garden is enclosed and laid to lawn, with seating and furniture for outdoor time. Two cars can park on the private drive. Craster Harbour is a two-minute walk away, and the coastal path towards Dunstanburgh Castle (14th century) begins at the edge of the village. The area holds several restaurants and pubs within easy reach. Travel cots, highchairs and stairgates are available on request. The house is non-smoking throughout.
