About Red House Farm
Breakfast and a small bar are part of daily life at Red House Farm, a two-room B&B on Station Road just outside Norwich. Drinks can be brought to your room, and there's outdoor seating in the garden for anyone who prefers to eat or unwind outside.
The rooms themselves sit within a converted 17th-century barn and stable on a working sheep farm, kept simply decorated rather than fussy, each with its own en-suite bathroom and views over the garden. An accessible room is available, and reception operates around the clock, so arrival times are flexible.
Beyond the farm, Beccles Museum gives visitors a local point of interest to explore, and there's a pub, restaurant and eatery nearby for evenings when you fancy a change from the on-site bar. It's a straightforward, rural base for exploring Norfolk rather than a polished country hotel, and it suits guests happy with unfussy comfort over extra frills.

My family rented the Farmhouse and Owl Barn for 4 nights over my wedding weekend. Both are comfortable, spacious, beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. It was the perfect place to spend time together and a lovely space to get ready the morning of the wedding. Lucy was a wonderful host, very relaxed with excellent communication. We had a lovely time staying here. Thank you Lucy!

Highly recommend staying here. 50 feet from a field of cows. Brilliant. Lovely hosts, who couldn't be more accommodating. Nicely furnished rooms. Ideal place to relax and recover.

A really fantastic seven week stay at Owl Barn – a perfect and peaceful home-away-from home while working in Norwich over Christmas 2022. The barn was cozy and comfortable, and Lucy the most generous of hosts. Absolutely nothing to fault and very much hoping to stay again the next time work brings me to Norfolk. Can't thank Lucy enough for making me so welcome and comfortable. The barn itself was lovely, as were the views and the location in general. Lucy was the most accommodating host, but I always felt like I had plenty of privacy. The facilities were exactly as described, with nothing broken or worn out. An absolutely perfect stay. Thanks so much! :)

My wife and I stayed at the red House for just one night. Our room was modern clean and well equipped. As a bonus we have access to a shared kitchen where we could make and dip into the biscuit barrel. Lucy, our host, was very welcoming. We slept very well in the comfortable bed. There was a good choice of foods for breakfast, with plenty of choice. We would be very happy to return.
