About Meadows Edge

Meadows Edge is a tiny, peaceful farm site just outside Norwich that works brilliantly as a no-frills base for touring Norfolk. With space for fewer than ten pitches, it feels genuinely wild – think composting loos, campfires crackling under the stars, and wildlife rustling in the hedgerows. There's a shower but no hot water, so it suits campers happy to rough it a little in exchange for proper tranquillity and a warm welcome.

Blackbird non-electric grass pitches accommodate tents and trailer tents, while a shepherd's hut offers a touch more shelter. You can park by your pitch, bring the dog, and fire up a barbecue. Nearby diversions include canoeing, cycling, fishing and riding, plus easy access to Norwich's medieval streets and the Broads beyond. Pitches from around £25 a night.
