About DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Nottingham Gateway
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Nottingham Gateway spreads its 105 rooms across three floors just off the M1 at Junction 26, making it a straightforward stop for anyone driving in from outside the city. Free on-site parking removes one of the usual headaches of a Nottingham stay, and the location also suits visits to the nearby business parks and university areas as easily as trips into the centre.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and complimentary WiFi, with family and accessible rooms available and drinks provided in room. Guests can eat at the on-site restaurant or bar, with outdoor seating for warmer days, and breakfast and kids' meals are both catered for. A gym, lift access, laundry and room service round out the practical side, while meeting rooms and business services make it a reasonable option for work trips as well as leisure stays.
The hotel also hosts weddings and has concierge staff on hand for local recommendations, useful given the pubs, restaurants and entertainment venues within reach nearby, along with a golf course for those wanting to fill an afternoon. Pets are welcome too, and luggage storage is available for early arrivals or late departures.
People say this hotel offers spotless, comfortable rooms with great amenities and delicious breakfast options. They also highlight the friendly, welcoming staff and convenient free parking.
Some reviews mention the food can be cold.
