About Greenwood Lodge City Guest House
Greenwood Lodge City Guest House sits on Woodborough Road in Mapperley, a residential area north-east of the centre, and has built a strong reputation for a warm welcome and a quieter setting than the guest houses right in the middle of the city. The Victorian house has been extended and modernised, with en-suite rooms across the main building and a smaller garden annexe.
The guest house offers free private parking, a genuine advantage in this part of Nottingham, along with a garden and a cooked breakfast using local produce served each morning. Rooms are comfortably rather than lavishly furnished, with a consistent, well-maintained standard throughout.
Woodborough Road has its own run of independent cafes and takeaways, and a frequent bus service reaches the city centre in around fifteen minutes, making this a sensible choice for visitors happy to trade a short journey for parking, quiet and value.
