What visitors say
Lovely location and site staff/wardens very friendly. Unfortunately what let's the site down is the Wi-fi which you can obtain for FREE for four hours! Or you can pay a fee of £5 for 24hrs ! Unfortunately there is no quality difference between the FREE Wi-fi and the one you have to pay for!! So CAMC if you are selling premium WI-FI make sure it is premium!! Otherwise great site 😊

Particularly pleased with our visit to Clumber Park. The team were welcoming and very accommodating to our unusual visit requirements. The facilities are clean and modern. During the week the site was quiet but did seem busier at the weekend. As others have said the mobile reception is nonexistent but the WiFi provided was adequate. Do not expect to be streaming videos but will allow wifi calls and emailing and other basic needs.

This is probably the largest CAMC site that we’ve stayed on, so definitely has a different feel to it from the smaller CAMC sites. Although there is a robust check in process with two lanes and two staff in Reception doing check-ins. There are also two toilet blocks which helps facilitate the extra people! The only small let down is the pitches don’t feel as well looked after as pitches on other CAMC sites due to the vast turnarounds. The site though is beautiful and situated in the middle of Clumber Park. It is a great location for cycling throughout the Park. The Campsite has a locked and secure bike room, with a bike maintenance area too! There is absolutely no phone signal on the campsite which is great for a digital detox! The information shed provides lots of details for excursions, cycles and food options. There is also food trucks that come on site at the weekend, but the fish and chips van seems quite expensive! Overall a wonderful site to be in nature.

Great site. Immaculate facilities. A little isolated from neighbouring villages/towns, unless you have transport of some sort. Recommend a bike. The one and only downside is... No service for your mobile phone , yes we can live without our phone but because we are newbies and this was only our 3rd time out in our campervan we both had a brain freeze on some of the set up which i had a video of but couldn't play it! ( Learned from that ). Fortunately the next morning when we went for our walk towards the visitors centre we managed to get a signal as soon as we left the site. Clumber Park is very beautiful with lots of paths, wildlife and scenery.
