About Greetham Valley Hotel
Rutland's quiet stretch of countryside around Oakham is home to Greetham Valley Hotel, a 35-room property on Wood Lane that makes the most of its rural setting. It's the kind of place built for slowing down, with gardens to wander and enough space around it to feel properly away from things, while still being within reach of Oakham itself and, further afield, Peterborough Cathedral for those wanting a day out.
The 35 rooms are straightforward and comfortable, with the practicalities well covered: breakfast is served daily, free WiFi runs throughout, and there's a laundry service and luggage storage for anyone breaking up a longer journey. A restaurant and bar on site mean guests don't need to travel for a meal or a drink at the end of the day.
Free on-site parking makes arriving by car simple, and the hotel doubles as a wedding venue, so it's used to hosting groups and celebrations alongside regular overnight stays. For anyone based in Rutland for golf, a wedding, or just a break in the countryside, it offers a settled base with everything kept on site.
