What visitors say
Just returned from our 7th stay here. This year we stayed in Lily water lodge. As always a fantastic experience. The lodges are of a high standard. The decor and furniture is wonderful abd equipped with everything you need in the kitchen. Upon arrival the Lodge is immaculate. A personal welcome and chat with Rowland which is always welcomed and a very nice touch. Located on farmland, a beautiful and peaceful location. Hot tub checked daily. The staff are amazing and very knowledgeable. Husband finds with fishing, the carp are small to what he is use to. However over the years he stated the carp are obviously getting bigger and in good condition. The choice between fishing from the lodge or tge top lakes, both very enjoyable. Already booked for next year. A fantastic break - a place well run by Rowland and Rachel, lovely hard working people.

Absolutely love how quiet and self contained this site is. This is by far one of the most serene places we have ever stopped at. Very highly recommend! The cleanest, warmest and most welcoming showers and toilet facilities I have ever came across. All of the staff are super friendly and very welcoming. If you are looking for somewhere quiet, calm and relaxing then this is absolutely the place for you. I am a very light sleeper and there was absolutely nothing that woke me at any point. An absolute gem. Disliked Absolutely nothing to dislike

What a great find, my wife and I and our 2 dogs stayed on the campsite in our Motorhome . A wonderful peaceful site .If you are into fishing its the site to visit. The showers and toilets on site are excellent top end quality. In the reception area on sale are some basic food stuffs and treats. Beer and wine is also sold if you run out while visiting. Great area for walking and relaxing. The host is very knowledgeable and welcoming. I will definitely be returning.

Myself and my husband have stayed here 4 times now. The standard is so high in each with everything you need for a self catering break. Its so peaceful, relaxing and private, A real home from home and a chance to really get away and chill. We love the sauna and hot tub,a real treat. The hamper is a nice touch and the personal welcome you get from either Rachel or Rowland on the day of arrival. A great place for fishing and also wildlife spotting. It's not far from local villages, walks and bike rides,a great location. The Internet is abit hit and miss, not personally a problem, it's quite nice to be away from it. Would definitely recommend and will 100% be returning again, it really is that good 👍
