We had a 5 star weekend at Marwell resort but here's my honest review..... There was a little hick up when I purchased the fishing. I was under the impression that i paid for fishing for the day but it turns out it's only for 6 hours and I booked it for 10am but we couldn't get there until check in time of 12 midday so we could only fish for 4 hours, so if you book fishing then turn up at the time booked. We spent one night at Marwell Resort and it was very good. The showers weren't brilliant but they were warm and had everything we needed. (There is a better shower block across from the reception but we didnt realise that till the next day). The restaurant food was really really good!! Couldn't falt the food and service. The bar staff on the night that we went were very slow... i waited 20 minutes to get two drinks and I was 3rd in line. The crazy golf was really good fun and reasonably priced. To sum up, me and my partner had a great time and would definitely like to stay again when we out that way next.

We’ve just come back from a stay at Marwell Resort as part of a large group. We had requested to be pitched together and around 90% of us were, with the rest only on the neighbouring field, so it worked out really well. The site is fantastic, with a well-stocked shop on-site and excellent toilet and shower facilities for a campsite. The on-site bar and restaurant are also great – we treated ourselves to takeaway pizzas, which were delicious. There are various activities available to book, although we didn’t take part in any this time. It was nice to have the option, especially for families. Having visited quite a few campsites over the years, this is definitely one of the best we’ve stayed at, and being fairly local to us is an added bonus. One thing we particularly liked was that our group could stay together regardless of whether we were in tents, caravans, or campervans. Unlike some sites, you’re not separated based on your accommodation type, which made the whole experience much more social. If you’re booking as a large group, it’s worth noting that being together is subject to availability and can’t be guaranteed. We booked around 10 months in advance and unfortunately couldn’t all be placed on the same field, but having a few members of our party on the field next door wasn’t a problem at all. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily return. 🙂

Had a fantastic few days away in our motorhome at Marwell resort. Very large pitches, level and flat we had G11 gravel pitch. Pizzas freshly cooked on Wednesday evening are glorious snd tasty. Bar and restaurant again great food freshly cooked. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Toilets and shower block clean and tidy plenty of hot water at all times of the day and night. The whole site is very clean and tidy, plenty of bins everywhere. Dog friendly bar and restaurant areas , lots of outside seating areas with blankets for visitors to use if needed. Live music and singer on one of the evenings was very good, sorry did not get a name. Takeaway food is available for the restaurant sgain very well prepared and packaged. All in all great place for adults and kids. Fishing lake you can also book a swin. Soft play for the under 5 next to the restaurant looked popular.
