About Premier Inn Oxford Botley

Botley sits on the western fringe of Oxford, close to the A34 and a short trip from the city centre and the University's attractions, which makes it a practical base for exploring without the hassle of driving into town. Premier Inn Oxford Botley occupies this spot, offering straightforward, well-equipped accommodation across seven floors and 123 rooms.

Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and free WiFi, with family and accessible rooms available and drinks on offer in-room. The hotel has a restaurant and bar on site, serves breakfast, and provides 24 hour reception and luggage storage for those arriving early or leaving late. An electric vehicle charge point and a lift are also on hand, and free parking is included at the West Way Square Car Park next door, arranged simply by registering at reception.

Beyond the hotel there's a pub, restaurants and entertainment nearby, along with golf and fishing for those wanting to fill a day outside the city. Staff are generally friendly and rooms are kept clean and comfortable, though service at busier times can be a little slow. For the price, it remains a solid, no-fuss option for reaching Oxford.

Pretty much everything you’d expect from the chain, although the location was a little further from the city centre than I expected. The staff at reception were super friendly and really helpful, and there’s a decent sized bar and restaurant adjacent to the lobby. The room was a good size with large windows and my only complaint was the bathroom was showing signs of mould around the bath. Otherwise everywhere else was clean and it provided a silent night’s sleep. A good value hotel.

Location, nice and quiet even being alongside the A34, I was 3rd floor and there wasnt much noise. However if you are heading into the town centre this is a good 35 minute walk, or £13 appx cab. Room, comfortable with your typical premier inn style. However the bed base was so sqeaky when you rolled over. Normal kettle and telly. Bathroom was good, walk in shower which just needed revamping. All the staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Had to pop down as I didnt have any towels. Thankfully noticed before getting in the shower. The air conditioning worked perfectly thankfully in the extreme heat wave. Good size car park, good selection of shops, restaurants and a pub within a very short walk. Handy McDonald's if you walk 5 minutes under the A34.

Not the standard I'd expect from Premier Inn. Desk staff were good but having stayed twice recently both bathrooms were full of black mould and on one occasion there was barely any toilet paper in the room; not what you want to find after checking in late evening. Should be basic to get bathrooms properly cleaned and restocked between guests. There are quite a few floors but they never had all lifts working on visits 3 months apart so it takes forever to get down with cases in the morning when lots of people are checking out
