Losehill House Hotel & Spa

We booked a Discovery Spa Day and it was delightful! The spa is beautiful and completely spotless. The pool is lovely, along with the sauna and hot tub! The staff were very welcoming and couldn’t do enough to improve the quality of our experience. The treatments were also fantastic, along with the cream tea. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking and makes for an extremely relaxing experience! Will definitely be coming back!

Location amazing Food really delicious and a fair price Spa lovely - a bit small but we knew it wasn’t huge before our visit The reason I’ve given it 4 as opposed to 5 was I think the service could have been slightly better. All staff we interacted with were friendly and professional but we were told at the time of booking that the only time we could go to the spa was 1pm onwards as it was fully booked all morning. When I rang up in the morning of the booking, the night porter told me we could turn up any time as the day was free. Turned up early and were told the spa was free so not sure we were initially told it wasn’t. Decided to have lunch. Told to sit anywhere, waited for nearly 10 mins and were then asked to move as we weren’t able to sit at the table we’d chosen as it was booked by someone else. Moved to another table and asked to order drinks and the staff member said she’d be back, but another 5 mins went by. (Bearing in mind it was only us and another couple in the restaurant) Staff member came to take our drinks and then wasn’t sure what was on the drinks menu. Another staff member then took over and was great. (The table we were moved from still hadn’t been used…) Apart from that minor blip, all good. Maybe you just need to do a bit of staff training, but we will definitely be back all the same

Lovely place and the food is insanely good - like Michelin good. However, as an authentic person with personality, I didn't feel terribly comfortable here. It seems like they are aiming to cater to a more stuffy kind of patron. It was hard to get them to treat me like a human and not their superior. Zero personality in most of the staff. The Italian dude was chill, but they'll probably beat that out of him shortly hehe. Seriously, it would be Eden if they didn't take themselves so seriously. I think all the elders I saw there could do with some character in their service. Oh, there was the occasional whiff of sulfur for some reason - no idea if that is seasonal or regular, but it was what it was. If you're stuffy, five stars. Best wishes, guys!

A very good evening spent with friends dining at losehill hotel my only negative comment on a superb evening is the large cream rug curled at one end as you walk from reception into the lounge area ,it is an accident waiting to happen a complete trip hazard ⚠️ my partner is disabled and almost fell walking over it !!!!! My observation would be removed it before a disaster. This apart we had as usual a superb evening with excellent dining ,I would also like to compliment the friendly helpful staff .
